Hit warm pool when weather's cool
      Anyone who thinks the beach is Port Aransas' only water feature hasn't visited the swimming pool in Community Park. Sure, the Gulf of Mexico is open 24 hours a day. But the pool offers lounge chairs and benches, shade, showers, lockers and poolside cubbyholes where you can keep your towel and shoes safe.

      Y ou just can't turn your back for a minute on the folks at the William Ellis Memorial Library. It continues to evolve. The Library now has a website, which you can access by going to www.cityofportaransas. org/library/cfm. At the site you will find the library catalog, general information about the library, plus links to interesting and helpful websites.

      T he Port Aransas Computer Center has made a number of major changes over the past year. With help from a number of local businesses the center has replaced 15 older computers with new Dell machines, all with upgraded memory and faster processors.
