License required to fish
      A nyone, with a few exceptions, who plans to hunt or fish in Texas is required by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) to have a license. The exceptions are for Texas residents currently on active military duty in the U.S. Armed Forces, including members of the Reserves or National Guard on active duty.
