Fireworks display set for Independence Day
      P ort Aransas residents and visitors are treated to a fabulous fireworks display each Independence Day. The city, in conjunction with Charles Butt of H-EB Food Stores, presents the show starting at "darkthirty," or about 9 p.m.

Sunset Sounds for all
      G rab a picnic basket, a blanket and an ice chest and head to Roberts Point Park on the second Friday of each summer month for the Sunset Sounds concert series. The concerts, sponsored by Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department, begin at 7 p.m. at the Fred Rhodes Memorial Pavilion.
