Sunset Sounds for all

G rab a picnic basket, a blanket and an ice chest and head to Roberts

A music lover gives Triggerfish some help during a Sunset Sounds concert. Point Park on the second Friday of each summer month for the Sunset Sounds concert series.

The concerts, sponsored by Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department, begin at 7 p.m. at the Fred Rhodes Memorial Pavilion. They are free and open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic and a chair or blanket.

The music lineup for the rest of the season is:

• June 13 - Vickie Cross (gospel, country)

• July 11 - Midnight Rider (R&B, classic rock)

• August 8 - Rosewood (country, folk)

• September 12 - Eddy Lee Skipworth & Friends (a little of everything)

• October 10 - Shirley Fischer & the Mixed Nuts (folk)
