Getting Around
      BY WATER Ferryboats run 24 hours a day, seven days a week all year long crossing the Corpus Christi Ship Channel to and from Port Aransas and Harbor Island. Jetty Boat transports fishermen and beachcombers to St. Joseph's Island from Fisherman's Wharf, $12 adults. $6 children under 12. 900 N. Tarpon St., 749-5448.

Trolley covers the city
      T he ride on the Port Aransas Trolley isn't free anymore, but close to it. A ride on the trolley only will Fares on the Flexi-B went from 50 cents to $1.25 per ride. For the fare, a rider may ride the Flexi-B from Port Aransas into Corpus Christi and mainstream onto any of the RTA's fixed routes. The idea was conceived from the RTA's B-Line Paratransit Service.

Center offers Internet, e-mail access
     The Port Aransas Computer Center has made a number of major changes over the past two years. Thanks to a number of local businesses and the help of the Weir Foundation, 15 older computers have been replaced with new Dell machines with upgraded memory and faster processors.
