      P ort Aransas and Mustang Island are a kayaker's paradise. The paddling trails around Mustang Island have opened up waters that only kayak anglers can get into for good fishing. The Lighthouse Lakes Paddling Trail was the first Texas Paddling Trail established by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
