JELM Center has it all for Winter Texans
      Winter Texans can’t complain about being bored or lonely thanks to the Joint Effort Leisure Ministry (JELM) Center. The JELM offers five days of fun including, but not limited to, arts and crafts, music and line dancing, brown bag lunches, fitness classes, games, lectures, hands-on workshops, meals and socials.

Stay in touch at Computer Center
      The Port Aransas Computer Center has free public access to 25 computers, all of which are connected to the Internet. And there’s more. The non-profit organization at 430 N. Alister St. also offers Wi Fi. The wireless service provides Internet access for users inside the center and for folks using their laptop computers in their cars in the center’s parking lot.

Elderhostel gives ‘students’ broad view of South Texas
      Port Aransas-based programs offered by the Elderhostel organization will take participants everywhere from the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge to the famed King Ranch this winter.
