Residents and visitors alike enjoy watching oil rigs and other structures pass through the ship channel. Anglers watch the sun set at the Port Aransas Nature Preserve at Charlie’s Pasture. A lone gull enjoys another spectacular sunset in Paradise (aka Port Aransas). A real treat, and one that is seen often, is bottlenose dolphins leaping from the water as they lead ships in and out of the ship channel. The dolphin are usually seen at the bow (front) of the ships. A skater takes advantage of a beautiful day at the skate park. Beachballs can be lots of fun at the beach. A little cool weather is no deterent to these sportsmen.
