Shrimp Boil headlines activities in February

A pair of happy customers at the 2011 Rotary Club Shrimp Boil display full plates and big smiles. A shrimp boil, music and prizes await those participating in the 11th annual Rotary Club Shrimp Boil.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Port Aransas Civic Center, 710 W. Ave. A.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will start about 45 minutes later.

The Medicare Band will play from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The dinner will cost $ 15, with all proceeds going to the Rotary Club scholarship fund.

Tickets can be purchased at American Bank, 216 S. Alister St.; Value Bank Texas, 500 S. Alister St.; Family Center IGA, 418 S. Alister St.; or Bilmore and Sons Hardware Store, 115 N. Alister St.

A drawing for prizes will be held at the dinner.
