Nature preserve expands with Phase Two addition
     You can get new perspectives on local wildlife at the Port Aransas Nature Preserve at Charlie’s Pasture. The preserve is 1,271 acres of undeveloped land between the Corpus Christi Ship Channel, Port Aransas Community Park, State Hwy. 361 and Piper Channel.

Paddlers may enjoy the Lighthouse Lakes Trails
     The Lighthouse Lakes Paddling Trails, the first such trails established by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), wind across shallow waters and flats northwest of Port Aransas. There are four trails along the South Bay side of Lydia Ann Channel, all accessible from the Lighthouse Trails Park along the State Hwy. 361 causeway.
