Ferryboats run 24 hours a day, seven days a week all year long crossing the Corpus Christi Ship Channel to and from Port Aransas and Harbor Island. Free. (Story Page 53.)

BY LAND

A shuttle makes a 60-minute circular route from the Pioneer RV Resort on the south side of town through Roberts Point Park on the north end of town including the University of Texas Marine Science Institute, Horace Caldwell Pier and the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center. Riders may flag down the shuttle anywhere along the route, which is marked by colorful signs. The Regional Transportation Authority charges a 25-cent fare for the shuttle. (Story Page 27.)
