Festival to celebrate town’s 107th year

Port Aransans and visitors will gather to celebrate the 107th birthday of the town on Saturday, Oct. 21, at the annual Old Town Festival.

Activities to appeal to all ages are scheduled for the daylong event.

The Old Town parade, a surfing contest, tours of the Eight Wonders of Port A and the Chapel on the dunes and much more are scheduled for the day.

In addition, the fourth annual Wooden Boat Festival will run concurrently with Old Town Festival, Friday through Sunday, Oct. 20 to 22.
