
Turtles are among the many exhibits that will fascinate kids of all ages at the Texas State Aquarium.
Critters ranging from sharks to otters can be seen up close and personal down the road at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi.
Exhibits at the aquarium include the Whataburger 4-D experience, the Blue Hole, Coral Reef, the Jungle, Dolphin
Bay, the Aquatic Nursery, Stingray Lagoon, Saving Sharks, Islands of Steel, Tentacles, Swamp Tales, Nearshore, Living Shores, the Wild Flight Theater, Flower Gardens, the Eagle Pass, Otter Creek, and Tortuga.
Caribbean Journey, a $58 million addition that opened in May 2017, added more than 71,000 square feet of exhibit space.
The aquarium is located at 2710 N. Shoreline Drive in Corpus Christi.
Admission and parking is free for members.
At press time, admission for non-members was $35.95 for adults (13 years and older), $33.95 for seniors, students and military and $25.95 for children ages 3 to 12. Children 2 and younger get in free.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
