What could be more relaxing than the sound of the waves as you stretch and relax at a free yoga class on the beach?
Beach yoga classes are offered the second Saturday of each month.
Nancy Meyers leads the yoga sessions that are sponsored by the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department.
The class is geared toward all ages and fitness levels and features basic yoga moves.
Yoga on the beach begins at 8:30 a.m. at the end of Beach Street beside the Horace Caldwell Pier.
Participants should bring a mat or towel suitable for the beach to the class.
In the case of inclement weather, meet at the pier to be advised of an alternate indoors location.
