Spend a Saturday morning on the beach relaxing the body and mind in a free yoga class.
The City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department sponsors free yoga classes the second Saturday of each month.
Port Aransas resident Nancy Meyers leads the yoga sessions geared toward all ages and fitness levels and features basic yoga moves.
Yoga on the beach begins at 8:30 a.m. at the end of Beach Street beside the Horace Caldwell Pier.
Participants should bring a mat or towel suitable for the beach.
In the case of inclement weather, meet at the pier to be advised of an alternate indoor location.
